1. Move the GMC-BBS drawer to the desired hard disk position.

2. Click on the InstallLibs Icon and install the required xpr libraries.
If they are already existing the version will be checked and if necessary
an older version will be overwritten after confirmation. If the installed
version is actual no installation will be made.

3. Click on the InstallScripts Icon and install the required scripts. If they
are already existing you have the possibility to install new or changed
   scripts again after confirmation.

In case you are using OS 1.2 or OS 1.3 you need to create the directory
"SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive". After that add the following lines to your
"startup-sequence" and reboot your computer before you install the scripts.

   C:MakeDir RAM:ENV
   C:Assign >NIL: ENV: RAM:ENV
   C:Assign >NIL: ENVARC: Sys:Prefs/Env-Archive
   C:Copy >NIL: ENVARC: RAM:ENV ALL QUIET

4. Start Assign_BBS before you start the mailbox the first time or insert the
following line to your s:user-startup or s:startup-sequence if you have
installed the BBS on DH0: "Assign GMC-BBS: DH0:GMC-BBS". After that you need
to reboot your computer before you start the BBS.

5. Check the Tool Types of the icon BBS.PRG.
   Default: SCREENMODE=NTSC DEVICE=serial.device UNIT=0

6. If you run the BBS from disk remove the write protection so that the system
files and user data can be saved. Otherwise the program saves the files to
the Ram Disk without any message. Moreover the system time of your computer
have to be correct to make a suggestive working of the mailbox possible.
Please take further information from the documentation BBS.DOC.
